ANUSHA AGRO INDIA PRODUCER COMPANY LIMITED

GENISIS: Anusha Mutually Aided Thrift & Credit Cooperative Society Ltd (Anusha MAT&CCS Ltd.) was established in September, 2008 by Mr. N.A.B.Choudary in Medak district of Andhra Pradesh. Anusha MAT&CCS Ltd. was registered as a Cooperative Society under the Andhra Pradesh Mutually Aided Co-operative Societies Act, 1995. The organization had entire Andhra Pradesh State permission to operate its activities. The promoter of Anusha MAT&CCS Ltd is the Chief Functionary of BIRDS.


BIRDS organization has felt time and again to form an institution to support its livelihood enhancement mission through improving the access of credit by the population difficult to reach. This gave birth to new organization called Anusha MAT&CCS Ltd for providing micro credit support to the clients. The present membership of Anusha MAT&CCS Ltd is 4,500 plus. The organization has disbursed loans to the members for setting of petty businesses, dairying activities and so on. The organization plans to expand the membership base to the tune of 20,000 for the year 2015.


In the initial years, BIRDS's interventions were in various developmental activities. It later forayed into formation of self-help groups (SHGs) and further into their capacity building and development. The gradual progress led to commencement of micro credit operations in 2008. BIRDS's first experience with self-help groups (SHGs) was in 2001. Its Chairman, Mr. N.A.B.Choudary who is also the President of BIRDS, leads the organization.

During the course of time the members of Anusha MAT&CCS Ltd realized the significance of Producer Organization and taken initiative to start Anusha Agro India Producer Company Limited (AAIPCL).

Anusha Agro India Producer Company Limited (AAIPCL shortly) is a producer owned company registered under part IXA of the Companies Act, 1956, having its registered office at Hyderabad. AAIPCL is committed to carrying out its activities with the highest degree of professionalism, transparency and accountability. AAIPCL is engaged in several activities and providing services to producers in the field of animal husbandry, agriculture and allied activities.


Vision: To augment the access to producer inputs and services, creating backward and forward linkages with producers, providing assured market to their produce and increase producers income, generate gainful rural employment and to achieve sustainable livelihood development.

Mission: To enable our producers to prosper through timely supply of reliable agro inputs, services and aid in an ecologically sustainable manner for their empowerment.
Objectives: AAIPCL has a capable and dedicated team of professionals headed by the CMD N.A.B.Choudary. The AAIPCL team maintains close ties with its member producers and other stakeholders.
  1. To carry on the business of production, procurement, marketing, processing, storage, bottling, packing, marketing and trading of all agricultural, horticultural, vegetables, medicinal, spices crops, Handicrafts, animal husbandry and its allied activities, poultry, dairy, bulk milk cooling centres, goat-keeping, Beekeeping and trading of all Agro inputs like Seeds, Manure, fertilizers, pesticides, farm machinery and Farm Tools etc.
  2. To acquire, procure, find out sources of raw material from economic and suitable sources for production, manufacture, processing, packing and preservation of all the agriculture products, in India/ abroad the business of selling, supplying, procurement, grading, pooling, handling, marketing, purchasing, selling, export, import, processing, preserving, value addition, packing of produce of its members.
  3. To promote the techniques of mutuality and mutual assistance, among members, render technical services, consultancy services, training, research and development and all over activities for the promotion of the interests of its members.
  4. To provide for the welfare measure or facilities/schemes for the benefits of the members as may be decided by the Board
